The Wastes

Highly contested by both Groll and Morkind, the Wastes is a region of much ruin and death. Few things that enter here do not find battle, and those that come to conquest do not hold their ground for long. A landscape of large trees, broken ground and hilly terrain, the land it littered with ruined watchtowers, decaying roads, and the remnants of forts and villages of long ago.

In the time of the Eye of Ebon, the land is occupied by a large Groll band under the rule of Rumsha, the Feng. Teirinor still make incursions to keep the Groll from expanding, but have been unsuccessful in removing Rumsha from his seat of power. The Groll, however, have been unsuccessful in moving south past the Gates, and so the land remains contested.

Much of what was made be the Allarie, and inherited by the Morkind is all but gone in this wasted land.
