Update 4/22/25

Howdy Friends,

With the completion of book 4, I have set out to make Book 2 ready to publish. Proof copies have arrived, I have a new editor on board (Scott Appelton), and the cover artist is working on the cover (thank you Teresa). I am aiming for an August release to match the release of book 1.

Two alpha readers are looking at book four and I am very excited to get their feedback. So far, it has been good.

Like the others, Book 4 continues the war against Tierinor and her allies. It is a dark time for all, and Sami must wrestle with who she is going to be, and her role in the whole of the war. Will she face down the Shadow, or has the Shadow already won? Can she do what she has been called upon to do, put her faith in powers beyond her control, even if the cost is all that she loves, and maybe even means she must give her own life? It is a story full of hard questions and difficult answers.

Book 2 will be released soon, taking the evens of the Eye of Ebon, and continuing the quest to prevent the rise of the Shadow...only, the Shadow is awake, and knows the White Sword has returned. His is a game of deceit that neither Sami nor Rue is ready for. Will they see through his web of lies, or are they just pawns in his game. The answers all lie in the pages of the Promise of Eternity. And last...Sadly, I must report that I have cancer for the second time. This time is a little more serious than the last. Lots of chemo and radiation coming my way. I should survive it, but it is alarming. This time I have a type that can spread quickly, and makes me wonder about the future. Will it be gone, or will it form again somewhere else even if they successfully remove this one. I cannot know. But...like my story, I put it in God's hands.

Book 5 is the last of the series, and it is already underway.
