The AI Promise

As an author, in the various web groups where I participate, I have made no secret of the fact that I am not a fan of AI. While the debate over AI content rages, I wish to clarify the meaning of my disclaimer that my books are all human content and no AI was used in them.

I mean this statement wholeheartedly. I do not user grammarly, or GPT, or any other tool other than Microsoft Spell checker, a text to speech for audio, and a bunch of beta and test readers. I have paid professional editors, and cover artists, and do not ever foresee not doing so.

I have asked that my editors and cover artists do not use AI as well. But...there is only so much in my control. I am asking and they are assuring, but if someone beyond my knowledge was to do so, and assist in my production of the craft, well...I would not know. I am not going to police people past their word on this issue.

I will just emphatically state, I do not use AI, and I expect those on my team will not use it either.
